Braveland is a graphic design studio located
in Pasadena,
California that specializes in innovative solutions for print, web,
identity/branding and eco-products.
Owner and creative director Dave Bravenec received a BFA
in graphic design from the University of Houston, Texas and
a MFA in graphic design from the California Institute of the Arts.
Dave has worked for Inscape, House of Blues New Media,
G&G Interactive, Sony Pictures, Razorfish, Carbon 14/Kick Media
& Grand Royal, where he developed the company’s online
magazine, record label print work and apparel line. In 2001, Dave
started Braveland Design, a clothing/product label that sold to
retail stores around the globe for seven years. He also continued
client-based work with The Grateful Palate, Ritual Records,
Studio at Fred Segal, Shambhalla Institute and Dog Camp LA.
In 2010, Dave restarted Braveland as a new
studio. Its mission
is to develop design projects that are environmentally conscious
and to educate the client for a better, greener tomorrow. Dave has also
been creating self-published print projects for Braveland that can be
viewed in the WORK section.
